Muzzloader
Workshop
November 7 & 14
This is a Muzzleloader Refresher Workshop followed by an all day muzzleloader hunt on Saturday, Nov. 14 (you must attend Nov. 7 to hunt Nov. 14) sponsored by Independence Outdoors and the DWR Hunter Education Program. The Workshop will consist of muzzleloader range time, muzzleloader hunting safety refresher, and a tree stand refresher. The Hunt, November 14, will be from legal light to legal light (all day with a lunch break built in) Should a participant be successful, a processing session will take place as well. Ladder stands and some ground blinds are all provided. As most stands are buddy stands/blinds, should a participant prefer to have an Instructor/Mentor with them during the hunt, this will be possible. This will be a rain or shine event.
All current applicable licenses: Virginia Hunting, Virginia Deer/Turkey, and Virginia muzzleloader.
